Job Overview
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for consideration to fill an open Work Planning Analyst position in our Program Management Services Division. This position will be located in our Client’s offices in either Geneva or Auburn, New York. Work will be required at both locations but one location will be considered the reporting location.

The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.

Work Planning Analyst is responsible for coordinating and maintaining construction schedules for Electric Operations crews. This position will develop, maintain and issue reports for their area of responsibility which will be used to make scheduling decisions, prioritize projects and manage resource allocation. The prepared schedules will be periodically reviewed by stakeholders to facilitate forecast resources needs, expenditures and optimizing resource utilization. This position will take a lead role to allocate work among internal and external resources for construction and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
  • Organization and updating of work orders in the Work Management System (SAP)
  • Monitor the Management System for newly generated work orders
  • Prepare reports to view the work load and backlog
  • Assess schedule adherence and make improvements
  • Schedule and lead periodic coordination meetings with Managers, Supervisors and key stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field is preferred
    • Associates Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or High School/GED with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience required
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Project
  • Strong organization and communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • SAP Experience is preferred
  • Knowledge or experience with construction coordination; experience in electric line work will be given preference
  • Knowledge of electrical theory, switching & tagging, labor agreements, general construction safety practices & procedures, and instrumentation helpful but not required
