This position will work closely under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications and reports for the structural discipline. Individual must be able to work independently, as well as part of multi-discipline teams.

Job Overview
We are seeking a Jr. Engineer with a career interest in Structural Engineering for Building Projects. This position will work closely under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications and reports for the structural discipline. Individual must be able to work independently, as well as part of multi-discipline teams.
Responsibilities
- Determine structural loading criteria, perform complex design calculations, and prepare structural specifications.
- Perform field investigations and document findings.
- Work closely with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
- Produce construction documents using Revit (BIM).
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFI’s and perform field observations during CA phase.
- Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Engineer in Training registration (E.I.T.) required.
- Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with concrete and steel design.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and structural engineering design software (RISA, SAP, and/or TSD) is preferred.
