Job Overview
LaBella is currently seeking a Project Manager for our Remedial Construction Group in Rochester, NY. The candidate must have experience with project management in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have environmental project experience including the removal of underground storage tanks, remedial excavations, waste management, installation, operations and maintenance of soil and groundwater treatment systems, and other related project experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of remediation projects with LaBella consulting/engineering staff or outside clients
• Project estimating and scheduling
• Planning, direction and coordination of activities of project personnel to ensure schedule and budgets are met
• Procurement and management of subcontractors
• Preparation of invoice backup for accounting department

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in the environmental contracting or consulting industries with 3 years of project management experience
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, technology, or construction
• 40 Hour HAZPOWER certification and current 8 hour refresher
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Experience with NYSDEC Standby Contracts a plus
