Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Remediation Project Field Superintendent for our Environmental Construction Department. Duties of this full time position include leading field teams conducting various environmental clean-up activities including underground storage tank removals, contaminated soil excavations, installation of remediation systems, bio-remediation, site restoration, and small demolitions.

Responsibilities
  • On-site management of day to day operations on remediation projects
  • Ensure projects adhere to scope of work and schedule
  • Coordinate mobilization/delivery of equipment and materials
  • Prepare daily reports for field activities
  • Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Assist Project Managers in development of scope of work, cost estimates and work flow
  • Assist in training junior staff
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in environmental contracting with at least 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment
  • Ability to interact directly with clients and regulatory agencies in a professional manner
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A clean, valid driver license. Commercial Driver License (CDL) not required but a plus
  • Must be willing to travel
  • 40 Hour HAZWOER training
  • Knowledgeable in OSHA and DOT regulations
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • OSHA 10 Hour construction safety training
  • OSHA 30 Hour construction safety training a plus
  • Experience with NYSDEC standby contracts a plus
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Discipline a plus

Salary Range: $30 to $40 per hour
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
